Publishing: label the thing that exists
A complete article is a published article. An eight-second silent visual is a format test. A channel without a complete release is in production. These distinctions protect the viewer from inflated presentation and keep a small archive honest.
Commercial relationships, meaningful uncertainty, and corrections belong close to the work they affect. Clickbait, manufactured outrage, hidden promotion, and unsupported claims are refused even when they might attract attention.
Learning and tools: make the limits usable
A learning resource states its level, working time, prerequisites, outcome, and available download. It does not imply a credential, cohort, tutor, or guaranteed transformation. A digital file states its version, format, compatibility, documentation, and support boundary.
The Lead Follow-Up Map uses clearly fictional examples so a visitor can inspect complete rows without mistaking them for customers. It remains a CSV and guide; the site does not describe it as an app, dashboard, automatic outreach system, or AI product.
Service: scope before commitment
A service names the problem, deliverable, inclusions, exclusions, required access, process, availability, and pricing status before work begins. When no public price is approved, MethodCo prepares a custom quote from the written scope rather than inventing a convenient number.
AI may help organize observations or prepare a draft. A person confirms competence, access, recommendations, promises, quality, and exceptions. No service promises revenue or automates consequential judgment without review.
Goods: an empty shelf can be truthful
Nothing is currently for sale through Method Goods. That statement is more useful than turning supplier research, unit calculations, packaging concepts, or inventory ideas into a public product page.
A future physical release must support its usefulness, materials, care, quality, terms, and availability. Until then, the appropriate public action is to follow development—not reserve, preorder, or infer a product category from an illustration.
